Dr Anupam Goel is Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon working with Max Super Speciality Hospital, Mohali. After pursuing his Masters in General Surgery from Government Medical College Patiala, he did his super-specialisation in Minimal Access and Bariatric Surgery from prestigious institute Sir Ganga Ram Hospital New Delhi. He has also been awarded with Fellowships in Minimal Access Surgery for various organisations like AMASI (Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India), IAGES (Indian Association of Gastro-intestinal Endosurgeons), EAES (European Association for Endoscopic Surgery). Dr Anupam Goel has keen interest in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeries for Hernia, Bariatric (weight-loss) and Minimal Access Gastro-intestinal Surgery.

He is presently working as Consultant Surgeon and head of Minimal Access, Bariatric and Robotic Surgery at Max Super Speciality Hospital Mohali and providing best surgical treatment to patients of Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and J&K.
He has always been kind to his patients and remains on forefront to help them. He was appreciated nationally for saving the life of elderly lady in mid-flight over europe in June 2018, the story was covered by Times of India Delhi cover page.
He was nationally praised for creating a self-sustainable Covid Care Centre in his residential society Suncity Parikrama Panchkula, which became a model-to-learn, when whole nation was suffering from the epidemic and facing shortage of hospital beds and supplies. This was covered by local radio stations, social media and appreciated by PMO office.
He was awarded ‘Dashing debut- Best doctor Award’ by Max Healthcare in Sept 2021.
He has been awarded ‘Susruta Award’ for Clinical Excellence in 2022, which is a highest level award given by Max Healthcare at Pan-India level.
He has been organising various conferences and workshops on regular intervals to bring a change in surgical healthcare facilities in Northern India. He is one of few young surgeons who has become operating faculty for international companies and teaching others senior surgeons learn the advanced laparoscopic procedures.
